Message in a Bottle

May I float with you Buoy? On crest and in trough?
You're salty and cold-wet on a warm parting.
Rolling towards a sphere, drawn by a celestial pull.
I know of only one thing stronger, it's kept in a chest.
I will keep you company through all kinds of weather,
I know you've seen heavy storms and a flat calm,
As countless changing tides ebb and flow.
But right now it turns and it's different from the others.
I wonder what it will bring for you, and now me,
as together we float in this great big sea.
